Standard installation
What the advertised price covers.
The package prices include GST and apply to a standard residential installation, subject to a photo assessment or site visit.
Electrical work is included up to a maximum allowance of $500 including GST.
Includes up to 10 linear metres of new water pipework in total to connect the cylinder to the existing hot- and cold-water feeds.
Travel within Hamilton City and the Waipā District is included.
What is included in a standard installation?
Supply of the selected heat-pump hot-water system; disconnection and removal of the existing cylinder or califont where it is readily accessible; installation at the existing or agreed nearby location; up to 10 linear metres of associated water pipework in total; electrical work up to the $500 including-GST allowance; standard valves, fittings and drainage connections; commissioning, testing and handover.
What may be charged as additional work?
Costs may apply for electrical work above the $500 allowance; pipework beyond the included 10 metres; cylinder relocation; switchboard or mains-cable upgrades; difficult or restricted access; trenching; scaffolding or lifting equipment; roofing, building, painting or reinstatement work; asbestos-related work; consent fees; drainage alterations; or rectification of existing non-compliant plumbing or electrical work.
How are travel and variations handled?
Travel within Hamilton City and the Waipā District is included. Work outside these areas may incur additional mileage and travel-time charges. Where reasonably identifiable, any additional work or travel charge will be explained and approved before the installation is scheduled or the variation is carried out.
What site conditions are required?
The advertised price assumes safe, unobstructed access; a suitable and compliant cylinder location, base, clearances and drainage; and existing services that are serviceable and compliant. Concealed defects or conditions that could not reasonably be identified from supplied information or an initial inspection may require a separately approved variation.
Product availability and warranties
Packages are subject to product availability and final installation assessment. Manufacturer warranty terms apply to the selected system, and Trident Plumbing’s workmanship obligations apply in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
